Carl Gaskill, Senior Vice President of Fralinger Engineering, has announced that his son, Corey Gaskill, has become a Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM). The Association of State Floodplain Managers (ASFPM) is a nationally recognized program comprised of professionals who are involved in floodplain management, flood hazard mitigation, National Flood Insurance Program, and flood preparedness, warning and recovery. Due to the recent increases nationwide in disaster loses, the role of a floodplain manager has expanded.

Corey graduated from Rowan University in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering. He was also in continuing education programs at Rutgers University and Master Studies at Linköping University, Sweden. He became a Professional Engineer for the State of New Jersey in 2007 and a Certified Municipal Engineer in 2010. He has been working for Fralinger Engineering as a Project and Design Engineer where he is involved in both the engineering and surveying departments as well as a Municipal and Planning Board Engineer.
