What is 3D Laser Scanning? In Laser Scanning, a laser beam scans across a surface collecting hundreds of thousands of points a second. This collection of points is used to create a photorealistic dimensionally correct 3D model. Data can then be extracted from this model to produce highly accurate drawings of existing conditions.
